Avestar And Vivid Sydney Come Together To Make An Unforgettable Networking Night For Executive Assistant Network


Vivid Sydney has grown to become one of Sydney’s premiere events. Drawing tens of thousands of people to see the iconic buildings of the city lit up in a multitude of colours, What better way to experience this festival than at Cruise Bar, located at the Overseas Shipping Terminal at Circular Quay. As a Gold Sponsor of the Executive Assistant Network (EAN), Avestar was proud to participate and be invited to their recent networking night on June 7.

EAN held its networking night at the glamorous Cruise Bar this year, in the Junk Bar, which is rightfully celebrated for being one of the most in-demand locations to enjoy the Sydney Opera House lit up in its Vivid colours.

Executive Assistant Network itself was founded in 2005, and has grown to have over 6,000 members Australia-wide. It is an industry body that represents senior-level executive assistants and personal assistants that work at medium-to-large organisations, offering them training and educational events, conferences and exhibitions to help keep them at the top of their game.

The association also hosts over 30 networking functions for members in Australia each year, with those events helping EAs and PAs form a sense of community and find new opportunities in interacting with one another. As the proud Gold Sponsor of EAN, Avestar was invited to present a lucky door prize, which went to a lovely EA from Mazars.

The partnership between EAN and Avestar is longstanding and mutually beneficial. At Avestar our job is to make the lives of all the EAN’s EAs & PAs easier by understanding what their AV goals and visions are, and then creating solutions in their offices which help them to realise those goals and visions. Executive offices these day need to be extremely tech savvy and have a focus on collaborative communication solutions such as Video Conferencing, digital signage, SMART boards, wireless technology etc

That’s why we’re proud to have be a partner of EAN and part of their recent networking night at the lovely Junk Bar at Cruise Bar. It was also a delight to be part of VIVID, as AV specialists we can’t help but be amazed at the creativity and ingenuity that is on display every year that Vivid runs.

Westpac Helicopter Ball

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) Annual Ball was held again at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal Grand Ballroom on 29th March. Celebrity comedian Fiona O’Loughlin compared the event with Jellybean Jam rocking the house down…The WRHS Annual Ball is an event that raises thousands of dollars every year that goes towards continuing and bettering the amazing service provided by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. Avestar audio visual services were honoured to sponsor the AV production for the event for 7th year in a row.
